Seeking help from everyone regarding issues with slot box installation

As soon as I was transferred to the project team, I was faced with a difficult problem (which could be seen as taking the blame). As shown in the figure below, the distance between the top suspension bars of the cable tray is 3.5 meters, which is too large; my supervisor asked me to find a solution. I said that a further set of suspension beams can only be added between the existing ones, so that the distance between the suspension beams is 1.75 meters. But,,,! The leader said I should think of other solutions; he’s aware of this approach as well, and since it would increase costs significantly, he asked me to consider other options. The excuse given is that these leaders are old and their ways of thinking are fixed; you young people have more flexible minds and should be able to come up with solutions. This task is assigned to you. I thought to myself that although I’m a novice, what can I possibly do? . . . . Let’s see if any of you experts have any good suggestions (to save some money).
