Our factory is constructing a new thionyl chloride plant. According to the technical experts, in such working conditions, the surface of stainless steel tends to blacken very easily; therefore, they recommend that we apply paint to the stainless steel pipes as well. Now, except for pipes that need insulation, all other exposed pipes must be painted. Two bottoms and two sides for carbon steel pipes, two sides for stainless steel pipes. The details are as follows: the sulfur dioxide pipelines and main material pipelines are painted yellow; nitrogen storage tanks and pipelines are painted light yellow; instrument air storage tanks and pipelines are painted sky blue; pipelines leading to the waste gas washing tower are painted silver; pipelines for venting to the atmosphere are painted bright red; sewage pipelines are black; circulating water, chilled water, primary water, and pure water are painted green; lye storage tanks and pipelines are painted purple; hydrochloric acid storage tanks and pipelines are painted gray; the rest of the stainless steel equipment is painted silver.
