Selection of filter pressure regulating valve

Dear marine friends, I have a question regarding pressure regulators for air supply. The air consumption in the pipeline is 60 m3/h, and the pressure regulator chosen is 1 inch in size. According to the data sheet, the normal flow rate is 4000 L/min, which is equivalent to 240 m3/h. In this case, isn’t the selected pressure regulator too large? Does it have an impact on voltage regulation and valve lifespan? Thank you, Ha
