In the food and pharmaceutical industries, many customers require fittings that meet German standards, including clamp connectors, swivel joints, elbows, and other similar components. But what are the corresponding standard numbers? Some customers specify that they want card connectors that comply with DIN11850. However, when searching for information on this standard online, only the dimensions of the connectors are available; there are no details regarding the parameters of the card connectors themselves. When trying to purchase German-standard card connectors from suppliers, the corresponding standard numbers vary greatly – some mention DIN11851, some DIN11853, and others DIN11864. This is really confusing. The standard specifications available online are in German, and they’re impossible to understand. I’m really stuck here. Could anyone please tell me what the general scope of application is for these standards?
