I would like to ask the experts: the situation is as follows – the equipment is equipped with DN200 flanges rated at 16 kilograms, while the pressure rating of the pipes is 10 kilograms; therefore, 10-kilogram flanges should be used. During installation, it was found that the 16-kilogram version has 12 holes, while the 10-kilogram version has 8 holes; in the end, only 4 holes aligned with each other. Is this okay? Use basically normal pressure in the eyes
Replace the flange; it has only four holes, and its sealing performance cannot be guaranteed after installation
Buy another 16-kilogram flange; using a higher grade one instead of a lower grade will suffice.
If it’s for personal use, the security cannot be guaranteed! If it’s installed for users, they definitely won’t accept it!
For safety reasons, replace it with a flange of equal pressure; the actual operation shall be determined based on the site conditions.
