Dear experts, there is a project currently in Xinjiang involving a DN500 pipeline carrying water, which is to be installed overhead at a height of 6 meters. I would like to ask, what kind of pipe support is suitable? Is profiled material or concrete, or some other type of support, the better choice? (Please help consider and analyze from the perspectives of cost and construction convenience.) Thank you. Are there any regulations in this regard?
There are many specifications, but there are no restrictions on the material of the pipe supports! Use steel sections if you want speed, use concrete if you want to save money – either works
To erect water pipes of such a large diameter in the air, what kind of highly dense supports would be needed? What about the thickness of the pipe? ? Why not take the surface or underground routes, or take a detour? ? ? For reference.
But this falls under civil engineering, right? I’m not quite sure how to make requests – are there any standards or anything else?
There are high-voltage lines on site, so it can only be installed overhead. The owner requested it at that time.
Of course, I want it to be fast. But cost-effectiveness also needs to be taken into account, and perhaps issues such as wind resistance and earthquake resistance as well
For such large pipes, even when using steel structures, a foundation is required. Moreover, the foundation must take root

It seems that reinforced concrete beam frames will have to be used; otherwise, the support density will increase. I still don’t understand it; if there are high-voltage wires below, any leaks or spills could represent a serious hazard. . . .
How long is the pipe in total? What is the venue like? Cement floor? Clay soil? Stone ground?
