Seeking help with ammonia valves

There are standard specifications for stop valves used with ammonia; can ball valves be used with ammonia as the medium? For example, in the case of liquid ammonia spherical tanks, when using a double-flange differential pressure level gauge and installing a root valve, should a ball valve or a globe valve be used?
Everyone says a dedicated stop valve should be used, but you insist on using one that’s not necessary
There’s no need for that; ball valves and globe valves can both be used
Ball valves can be used; for ammonia service, valves containing copper are simply not permitted
