1. What is the function of a low-temperature welding valve sleeve? 2. Does a low-temperature valve require a drain plug?
I just know that low-temperature ball valves need pressure relief holes

One of the functions of a sleeve is to prevent the valve from being damaged during welding to the pipeline; by using a sleeve, it is not necessary to conduct welding procedure qualification, and typically a sleeve is welded at the end of the valve. Feel free to add more
1) Sleeves are used with welding in mind to avoid damaging the valve body; additionally, multiple welds can be performed (if one weld fails, a second weld can be carried out, requiring a certain welding equivalent). 2) They usually come equipped with drain plugs, depending on factors such as the properties of the medium, process conditions, and installation environment
