I had been in contact with it for many years without realizing that there was PC in the material; I just discovered it now and am a bit confused. Please explain! For example, for seamless steel pipes, the material is 06Cr19Ni10 (PC); this PC is also indicated after the material specification for pipe fittings.
The “(PC)” marked behind the materials usually refers to a special designation for “Components used in Pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants”.
