Why are the triangular symbols indicating the elevation of the pipes in the diagram sometimes hollow triangles, sometimes half-solid triangles, and yet another type being a vertical half-triangle? What do they mean? There is no graphical meaning; I can only turn to the experts for help
A hollow triangle indicates the general elevation EL.××××, while a vertically shaded half indicates the center elevation of the pipe； There are two types of horizontal half-black markings: when the upper part is black, it indicates the top elevation of the pipe, TOP EL.××××; when the lower part is black, it indicates the bottom elevation of the pipe, BOP EL.××××
