The inlet pipes of the crystallization tank often experience crystallization; that is, brackish water, after being cooled by a plate heat exchanger, tends to crystallize at the bends in the pipes leading to the crystallization tank. The crystals need to be removed once a day. I would like to know how other companies in this industry handle this issue and what might be the cause of it

The first solidification point of sodium sulfate decahydrate is around less than 40 degrees; I can’t remember exactly it being in the 30s. It is estimated that raising the temperature a bit will improve things.
Has the composition of the crystals been analyzed to determine whether they are Glauber’s salt? Check the solubility of Glauber’s salt. Could it be that the lack of insulation in the pipes has led to lower local temperatures and slower flow rates, thereby causing crystallization to occur?
It must be related to temperature; it’s better in summer as the flow rate isn’t fast. Thanks
Do your devices have a flushing system, and where is the crystallization site in similar devices?
Crystallization occurs in the pipeline leading from the mother liquor cooler to the crystallization tank; analysis of the crystallized substance shows a sulfate content of 11.29% and a salt content of 21.93%. Doesn’t it crystallize in your case?
There is likely an issue with the design height of the pipeline leading to the crystallization tank, or there might be some obstruction in that pipeline that affects the flow rate. Our circulation pumps and cooling plate exchangers are both on the second floor
