Recently, the “Calcium carbide furnace pressure monitoring device” independently developed by Tianwei Calcium Carbide Plant No. 2 was granted a utility model patent by the **Intellectual Property Office**. 　　The technical team focuses on the needs for intelligent and automated upgrades, systematically advancing the transformation of the equipment from three aspects: hardware, software, and piping. At the hardware level, the team introduced high-precision pressure sensors capable of withstanding temperatures up to 500°C, combined these with vortex refrigerators for cooling, and integrated everything into a DCS system to enable high-performance frequency converters to drive the fans accurately. At the software level, the team independently developed an automated control program incorporating a PID algorithm. This enables closed-loop management of signal acquisition, computation, and regulation. It also supports switching between manual and automatic modes, allowing for more flexible and efficient operation.
