Hello, dear colleagues. I’d like to share here some minor improvements made to the chlor-alkali production facility. I also ask everyone to share their own successful improvements as well, so that we can all improve together: handshake ① All the desalinated water and concentrated water are used for flushing the toilets in the office buildings and the production area; ②After the pH value of the acid wash water from the resin tower is adjusted, it is all sent to the primary brine mixing tank for desalination purposes ; ③Dechlorinated brine is prepared without sodium hydride; only alkali is used to adjust the pH to around 5. Some of this brine has its pH adjusted to above 9 before being sent to the water mixing tank, where it undergoes salt dissolution ; Another portion undergoes denitration, with sodium hydride added further to remove free chlorine before denitration takes place. ④Hot exchange between wet chlorine gas and brine ; ⑤The wash water from the hydrogen scrubber is used to absorb hydrochloric acid-containing exhaust gases, and then it is sent for desalination ; ⑥In the pipeline for removing accidental chlorine using the Na2SO4 pump in the packaging process, a mist catcher is added before the accidental chlorine is absorbed, thereby preventing impurities such as acid and rust from contaminating the quality of sodium hypochlorite. Isn’t there a risk that incomplete removal of residual chlorine could lead to serious production accidents in the secondary brine? Where was Yana added later on?
