In accordance with the example requirements in Appendix A of the \"Design Code for Power Supply Systems in Petrochemical Enterprises\" SH/T3060, the air separation unit is classified as a first-class power load. Is this really how things are done in actual factories?

What type of company are you? It seems that there aren’t many coal chemical plants with a first-class load requirement for air separation systems!
The electrical load of air separation units is mainly classified as secondary load, with a small portion being critical primary load, and there is also some tertiary load. For critical primary loads, such as the power supply for DCS systems, instruments, and fire alarm systems, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) are used. The emergency lighting in the production facilities is powered by UPS to ensure reliable power supply~~
It should be like this normally, but it differs from the requirements specified in SH/T3060, which is why there is this doubt!
There’s no conflict – the power consumption level for the air separation unit is classified as a Class 1 load. The Class 2 loads mentioned in the appendix of SH/T-306 refer to the highest level of Class 2 (including both Class 2 and Class 3)~~
The appendix clearly provides an example showing that the air separation unit is a first-class load.
