Good news keeps coming in regarding the closed-circuit coking renovation project for Yunnan Petrochemical’s delayed coking unit, which is under the general contracting of Kunlun Engineering’s Dalian branch. On September 9, with the successful pouring of the foundations for the C-0801 exhaust gas washing cooling tower and the C-0802 exhaust gas desulfurization tower, it was marked that the foundation construction for all equipment in the closed coking removal renovation project had been completed successfully, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent installation of equipment. Since the official commencement of the project on June 25, 2025, all project members have demonstrated an extraordinary spirit of dedication, striving to achieve the 1.15 CCCC target by 2026. Faced with the challenges posed by the variable rainy season climate in Yunnan, as well as the dual pressure of ensuring the stable operation of the equipment while advancing construction efficiently, the project team adopted a determined attitude of \"starting with a full-scale effort\" to push forward the construction at full speed. The key to the success of a project lies in meticulous management and efficient collaboration. On the one hand, the site focuses on plan management by formulating three-level network plans, monthly plans, three-week rolling plans, and various specialized plans; daily, detailed analyses are conducted against these plans along with dynamic adjustments to ensure that the construction progress remains under control at all times ; On the other hand, it is necessary to make full use of the advantages of the general contractor to achieve efficient coordination in the design-purchase-construction (E-P-C) process. Adhering to the working principles of \"accelerating design, speeding up procurement, emphasizing quality, and ensuring strict safety,\" skilled personnel should be assigned to key stages to ensure that all tasks are carried out in an efficient and coordinated manner. It was thanks to the hard work and close cooperation of all project members that the foundation construction for the equipment was ultimately completed 6 days ahead of schedule, achieving the goal of having the foundation above ground by September 15. This early achievement not only demonstrates the project team’s tenacious attitude in tackling tough challenges, but also vividly illustrates the team spirit that \"unity is strength and cooperation leads to success.\"
