Question: Can the ESD system for land-based receiving stations be developed in the early stage? Can it only start at the detailed design stage?
What to do if the equipment hasn’t been selected? What to do if there’s no process interlock table? It’s impossible to do!
This post was last edited by dcr1710 on 2018-6-3 at 10:36. If the cause-and-effect interlock logic can be determined during the preliminary design stage, then it is certainly possible to do so. Just send the causal interlock logic and I/O table to the control system manufacturer. The usual practice is to complete it during the detailed design phase. Or estimate the I/O points based on relevant engineering experience, so as to keep the investment within control.
