I would like to ask: since we have run out of 100# machine oil, can 150# air compressor oil be used as a substitute for use in reciprocating compressors? I currently only have 46# lubricant, 150# air compressor oil, and 150# industrial gear oil here. . . The substitution period is not long, about a month. Is it feasible?

Could we consider using N100 rust-resistant turbine oil as a substitute?

Mixing is not recommended. The labels are different; unless everything is polished, use 150-grade air compressor oil. It’s best for you to check the manual yourself, or you can also consult the manufacturer. But why use machine oil instead of compressor oil for your compressor? 100# fully synthetic mechanical oil?
