As titled: after the main pump is turned on, the pressure of the auxiliary oil pump drops by 0.1 MPa instantaneously. When the main pump is turned off, the pressure of the auxiliary oil pump returns to normal. Seeking an explanation
Before starting the main equipment, manually increase the pressure of the auxiliary oil pump by more than 0.1 MPa.
The oil pressure is normal; why is it dropping? Once it stops, the pressure will return to normal. The standby pump does not have this problem.
If the auxiliary oil pump is a gear pump, oil temperature has an impact on oil pressure

Generally, after the main motor starts, the auxiliary oil pump stops operating; the lubricating oil is supplied by the main oil pump. If the auxiliary oil pump functions properly when running alone, it is likely that the oil coming from the outlet of the auxiliary oil pump is being diverted by the main oil pump
