On several piston rods, the upward movement is quite significant, reaching 0.5 mm. After ruling out issues with the instruments and dust accumulation, it seems that the load variation has a major impact on this phenomenon. Has anyone else encountered this issue? How do you deal with it?
Is the piston rod rising? How did you figure that out? Generally, the piston rod starts to sink after it has been in operation for a while. If there is indeed an upward movement, is it possible that the crosshead is installed in the wrong direction?
Generally, it is the piston rod that sinks; once any faults in the instruments are ruled out, the issue must lie in the manufacturing or installation process. It is recommended to turn to the manufacturer for resolution.
