The unit operated normally; after being shut down for two days, the cylinder head was opened and rust was found on the cylinder block. What could be the causes of this?
Gray cast iron cylinder liners will rust very quickly if even a small amount of water gets inside them!
There are no cylinder liners. I haven’t seen this situation before.
