I would appreciate it if some experts could advise me on what causes the babbitt alloy to peel off from the crankshaft bearings in reciprocating compressors ? Except for one connecting rod bearing shell, the others are upper bearing shells. In almost all cases, the Busalloy has come off at that same location. What could be the reason for this? I would appreciate some guidance
