Each workshop operates independently, and when there are problems with the equipment, people turn to the maintenance team; as a result, the equipment department becomes ineffective. Moreover, the staff in this department are mostly young people with insufficient professional skills, especially when it comes to practical skills compared to the maintenance team. As a result, they basically just go through the motions every day, doing nothing substantive. When the management noticed this, they pressured the equipment department to carry out technical improvements. But what could they do? The staff in the equipment department don’t operate the equipment themselves; they merely take a quick look around the workshops and can’t identify any areas that need improvement, unless there are already serious design flaws or mistakes

This is how conflicts arise within factory enterprises – work is done as one pleases. It was the same when I worked at a small state-owned enterprise. The only thing you can do is to be the best version of yourself and do your work exceptionally well – only then will you have real say in things! ! :) Keep it up, chemical industry workers are the best! ! !
Technical upgrades should be carried out to address the issues that arise during operation; it is necessary to analyze where the problems lie before making any changes. Not blindly.
Two aspects: one is upgrading, and the other is solving problems
1. Are there any bottlenecks in production capacity?; 2. Are there any areas with high energy consumption? ; 3. Are there any unsafe areas? ; 4. Are there any areas where the environment can be improved?
There are many aspects to technological upgrades: mechanical and electrical systems, manufacturing processes, energy consumption, cost control, and so on. Those in the equipment department need to spend more time in the workshops to observe how the equipment is operating, to assess the production load, to determine whether it’s possible to reduce energy consumption, and to ensure that the equipment is running safely and efficiently. You need to take all these factors into consideration. Just sitting there complaining without taking any action is not enough. In this society, at schools or elsewhere, you have to rely on yourself; no one will be there to help you. Leaders only care about results. If you don’t have the ability to solve problems, then what use are you?
The plans for technical upgrades are generally proposed by the process team.
