However, what is commonly used is lead wire; after the bearing cover is pressed down as required, the wire is removed, and the thickness of the wire is measured in order to determine the clearance of the fit

In fact, what is quite unremarkable about rotating equipment yet extremely important is the coordination with clearance measurement and part selection. Similarly, regarding the operating conditions and service life of pumps after maintenance, while others’ pumps can last for one cycle, yours may only last a week. The difference between you and others lies in \"measurement + selection + adjustment\". First is the inspection of the clearance group and shaft diameter tolerance group prior to bearing assembly ; Next is the selection of the two components: choose a bearing whose clearance value matches the requirements of the shaft diameter tolerance ; Third is the adjustment of the end play and side play during assembly (usually using copper sheets, wire, or green paper); these three steps determine the operating quality and lifespan of the pump after maintenance. Only bearings assembled in this way can be in their optimal operating condition, with minimal wear during operation, the best lubrication, and the most even support from the bearing housing for the outer ring of the bearing.
