How to count dynamic and static sealing points

A device consists of tens of thousands of meters of pipes, thousands of pairs of flanges and valves, as well as dry-operated equipment; how can the static and dynamic sealing points be accurately counted? Is it by counting them one by one on site?
It can only be done this way, or by performing calculations based on the piping diagram.
Statistics are taken based on basic records such as equipment lists and pipeline lists, to determine things like how many sealing points each type of equipment or pipeline has. However, this is possible only if your basic information is complete and accurate
It’s impossible to obtain accurate figures from the drawings. Firstly, the pipe flanges actually installed differ from those shown in the drawings, and the number of flanges on the lined pipes is not indicated in the drawings either. The length of the lined pipes is not uniform; some may be 2 meters, 1 meter, or another length. During actual operation, the pipes may undergo changes, and the number of sealing points will also change. It’s unclear how many companies are able to count the sealing points accurately; in any case, we are only making estimates
