Who has the drawings or maintenance procedures for this type of fan?
Everything has been disassembled; now we’re just waiting for the spare parts!
Does the Equipment Department not have any technical documents? ?
Planetary gear transmission. The key issue is maintenance. In particular, mechanical impurities tend to accumulate in the bottom bearings, causing damage to them. It is recommended to clean and change the oil after short periods of use, in order to prevent the accumulation of mechanical impurities. For reference.
The space inside the reducer is too small to accommodate two people working together. The gears are also very heavy, not to mention the need to add bearings and shafts. That’s why we send them to the manufacturer for repair, as they have the professional tools and equipment needed for that task
This is the simplest thing on a cooling tower; it’s very cheap. It should be available in Bishan, Chongqing, in China; under normal conditions, it should work fine for around 10 years without any problems.
It seems that our factory is using this type of equipment; it has been in use for 10 years without any repairs. Is there any maintenance manual available?

Reputable manufacturers usually provide organization diagrams and lists of spare parts; it’s better to find out the specifications, model numbers, and parameters, as that is more useful than just sending pictures. As long as the oil seals, coupling gaskets, and oil level are checked regularly, there will be no problems with regular oil changes and top-ups.
