The oil temperature in the screw chiller is high, and the quality of the circulating water used in the oil cooler is poor – what are some solutions?
Whenever there is a chance to shut down the system, clean the water side of the oil cooler, or use steam flushing or acid cleaning.
Poor water quality can easily cause blockages and lead to poor heat exchange. It is necessary to clean the oil cooler; pouring water on the outside of it while in use can have some effect
Is it possible to make an opening under pressure? Drill holes using a magnetic drill while the system is in operation, and then add chemicals to the circulating water to clean the heat exchanger.
Temporary measures include reducing water temperature, increasing flow rate, enhancing heat exchange, and then cleaning the oil cooler. But to resolve the issue fundamentally, it is still necessary to improve water quality

It has been changed to liquid cooling; the new chillers produced by York now do not use oil cooling, instead relying on spray valves to cool the oil
