May I ask: Is it instrument air or the process gas that activates this automatic control valve? Additionally, how does this automatic valve operate? Why is the intake valve placed above the cylinder? Isn’t it necessary to have low intake and high exhaust?
No, it’s used to control the load – it’s either fully on or fully off!
This is not a unloader; the unloader is located on the panel at the site or during operation. This is the intake valve of the compressor, and it serves for air control. Why should the intake air come from a lower pressure area to a higher one? It operates by means of pressure difference – it opens when air is being drawn in, and it closes during compression and exhaust
