Today, new imported equipment is being installed. The drawings mention “Pipe WE 10mm” – pipes with a diameter of 10 mm. So what does WE mean? That is what is indicated by circle 13 in the diagram. Chemical Equipment and Machinery
Pipe WE is a non-galvanized low-carbon steel pipe
Actually, as long as it’s not a galvanized pipe, any other low-carbon steel will do.
What material is a pipe with an OD of 8mm?
Is it a liquid nitrogen pipeline in the diagram? What is the specific temperature?
It seems to refer to pipe welds – meaning that welding is required between the pipes and valves here. Liquid nitrogen is usually transported in stainless steel or aluminum alloy pipes~~
Is it an air separation drawing? Which one? AL or Linde~~
It’s not an air separation unit; it’s a molecular distillation unit, fully imported.
I agree with what was said on floor 8; the connections for valves are all of a welded type. Liquid nitrogen poses a risk of leakage, so welded connections are necessary.
