The compression medium contains 80–120 mg/m³ of mercury – are there any things to be aware of?
Pay close attention to the liquefaction of mercury; drain all condensate before it enters the cylinder, otherwise it will damage the cylinder. For the impacts that other physical and chemical properties of mercury may have, consult the manufacturer.
Mercury is quite corrosive to aluminum; be sure to replace the gas valves and cylinder head gaskets with materials of other types
