The two-stage reciprocating compressor in our factory often replaces the valve plate, and the frequency is a bit fast. Can anyone help me find out what may be the cause of this?
The medium is dirty, the exhaust temperature is too high for a long time, or it is overloaded for a long time.
The medium contains particulate matter, which causes erosion when passing through the valve plate with the air flow.
Cavitation phenomenon. There are also traces of the fragments produced after the valve plate breaks and the valve seat being hit.
So how can we reduce cavitation?
Personally, I think it was caused by liquid shock! What do you mean by compression cavitation? It is easy to understand to avoid liquid hammering, ensure the frequency of oil drainage, and reduce the content of saturated water in the medium.
This valve has been running sick for a long time, right?
In addition to the reasons above, there is also something wrong with the material of the valve.
There are three possible reasons. First, the impurity content of the medium is high.； Second, the medium has a high dew point and contains liquid ； Third, the material selection is inappropriate.
