During the use of polypropylene compressor ring valves, the valve plates become dented by the spring caps; what are the main causes of this?

The analysis upstairs makes sense. It is also related to the performance of the spring, its shape and structure, as well as the spring pockets. If the quality of the spring is poor, the spring will shake and rotate during each opening and closing cycle of the air valve, which in turn causes wear on the areas where the valve rings come into direct contact. Additionally, too many impurities in the gas can also have an impact. Based on the image, it is likely that there is a problem with the material used for the valve ring set. Typically, PEEK material can withstand temperatures of 200–240 degrees. As valve rings, they require higher strength than valve discs do; therefore, the material used for these valve rings must contain fillers that enhance strength and heat resistance, such as carbon fiber. The valve ring sets used in our facility have never experienced such a situation; at most, there is only a slight trace of a spring. The temperature of this intake valve should not be very high, enough to melt the valve ring set.
