Regarding the early stage of project construction, the issue of spare parts when purchasing equipment: Is it required that each piece of equipment come with spare parts as part of its purchase? Should we wait until all the equipment has been purchased before buying spare parts collectively? For moving equipment, although items such as machine seals, bearings, and O-rings are standard components, manufacturers generally do not provide the model numbers for these spare parts (as most of them are purchased from external suppliers). If it is not required that these spare parts come included with the equipment, and the user has to arrange to purchase them separately, it is likely that there will be no model numbers available. For stationary equipment, bolts, nuts, gaskets, and flanges also belong to standard components, and all sizes of these are certainly available in the factory. Is it possible to omit these spare parts from the delivery and arrange to order them separately? There’s another issue: once these spare parts are purchased, how should they be stored in the warehouse? The model specifications of spare parts vary for each piece of equipment. Does that mean one spot in the warehouse is needed for each piece of equipment? How large would such a warehouse have to be?
There is a type called random spare parts, which come along with the equipment. There is also another option called two-year spare parts; you can ask the equipment manufacturer for a recommended list and purchase the parts later, but you need to take into account the delivery time, especially for spare parts of imported equipment

Two years’ worth of spare parts refer to those needed to maintain your equipment on a regular basis once you start using it – including spare parts required for routine inspection and repairs (not just wear and tear parts). The quantity of such parts is large, and their cost is very high; in fact, the cost of acquiring these spare parts can be higher than the cost of buying an entire device. This is when the equipment manufacturer can win the bid at a lower price and recoup its investment. In addition, spare parts for emergencies are also kept in stock for some large, critical equipment, such as turbine compressor rotors, large pump rotors, and impellers.
It mainly depends on how you negotiate the technical terms; if you offer more money, then things like mouth rings can be provided as well, haha.
