Steam turbine generators driven by saturated steam are not commonly seen in power plants and chemical plants; nuclear power plants generally use saturated steam for driving such generators; The pressure drop from 1.0–1.2 MPa to 0.8 MPa is relatively small, so the amount of electricity generated will also be limited. It is likely that condensate will be produced during this power generation process, which could have a significant impact on the turbine blades. I think it would be best to install a pressure reducing valve to lower the pressure directly for use in heating purposes.
