After the turbine is started up, both the front and rear support bearings, as well as the lower bearing, each have two bearing shells. Currently, the shells in one set are at around 90 degrees, while those in the other set are at over 40 degrees. What’s causing this?

1. The thickness issue of tiles: tiles are thinner at lower temperatures, resulting in larger gaps between individual tiles； 2. During operation, the rotor is at around the 7 o’clock position in the direction of rotation; this is where the load on the bearing is greatest and the temperature is highest.
