In the dry gas seal of a centrifugal compressor, the control parameter for the primary seal gas is flow rate, which is 60 standard cubic feet per hour; why isn’t pressure controlled? Some pressure is needed in order to achieve a sealing and isolation effect! There is flow, but the pressure might not be sufficient? The same is true for the secondary seal; could the experienced colleagues explain why? ? Our factory uses Huayang seals

Sufficient pressure is required to generate thrust momentum; if the flow rate is insufficient, it indicates that the pressure of the sealing gas is too low. If the flow rate is too high, it is likely that the sealing surface is damaged.
