The P-40 bipolar pusher centrifuge that our company is using currently worked fine at first. After some time of use, however, the oil pump starts making a harsh noise when pushing material. The oil pressure gauge shows a reading of 0.09–0.1 MPa; there is no noise when no material is being pushed. A harsh noise appears when feeding material starts, and the oil pipes also vibrate. The noise occurs only during the pushing process. Upon checking the oil pump, it was found that its gears were in good condition, and the oil pipes were not clogged. Does anyone know what could be causing this issue? Please share your insights.
