I would appreciate it if everyone could help explain the function of the DN50 pipeline that connects the steam collector to the condenser, and when it is necessary to adjust it. The area marked with a red line in the image.
Intake of clean air: when starting the vehicle to warm it up, and when stopping the vehicle to cool down and drain condensate water.

The main function of the steam trap is to prevent air from entering the condenser, using steam for sealing. A small amount of steam that enters the condenser turns into water, so the vacuum level does not decrease. Without a steam trap, air will enter the condenser; since air cannot be condensed, this will lead to a decrease in the vacuum level. Personally, I don’t think this is meant for warming up, but it needs to be activated before starting the machine. In that case, the pressure control of the steam collection pipe isn’t as high; basically, all you need to do is follow what’s shown in my diagram – drain the steam by adjusting the levels accordingly

If this valve is a control valve, that’s fine; by linking the pressure level in the steam collection tank to this control valve in a cascade configuration, it’s possible to regulate the pressure in the tank, thus allowing for automatic control of that pressure. If it’s not a control valve but just a regular manual valve, then it’s not very useful. In that case, open it slightly to prevent steam condensation and freezing in winter
Does this valve seem to be related to vacuuming?
This steam is known as shaft seal return steam. The proper approach is to direct this shaft seal return steam to the shaft seal cooler; since you don’t have such a device, it can only be discharged into the condenser. Clearly, this design of the shaft seal system is unreasonable and results in energy waste. A shaft seal heater should be installed, with its drain steam being sent to the condenser through a water seal tube. For small units, the air extraction pipe for the shaft seal heater is directly connected to the condenser.
