The lubricant for the existing domestic air compressor is being replaced because the oil supplied by the manufacturer is too expensive; another domestic lubricant is planned to be used. The motor rotates at 3,000 revolutions per minute, and due to the presence of a set of gearboxes inside, it is estimated that the rotor may rotate at over 10,000 revolutions per minute. The bearings are likely to be of the bushing type. So, 1: When the manufacturer does not provide any technical parameters regarding lubricants, what modifications can be made in a way that is reliable and does not damage the machinery? 2. Check the manual for the centrifugal compressor and look at the table specifying the requirements for the lubricating oil; as long as it meets those specifications, it is suitable
Buy the parameter specification sheet. Could you tell me which machinery factory is that great? In foreign countries, aren’t it Siemens and MAN TURBO? I didn’t see a manual with the lubricant parameters. . . I can only provide Shell Mobilo VG46, which is used for lubricating the engines with the same speed in our company. Siemens only requires that the lubricant must not contain zinc.
The designs of different manufacturers vary quite a bit; it’s not possible to determine which one is suitable based solely on the rotation speed. The best approach is to follow the oil specifications recommended in the manual; they surely provide those details. Buying it properly – refusing to do so is just being unreasonable.
Shouli 46# oil – could it also be Fusheng? Atlas? Ingersoll Rand? But the information provided by these manufacturers includes the parameters of the lubricants; Sun Ran recommends using their own specialized oils
