We are preparing to remove and inspect the cutter shaft of the JSW extrusion granulator, mainly due to feed jamming. Hey guys, have you encountered this issue with your JSW spindle? I hope people can offer valuable opinions or suggestions.
Check for jamming during feed insertion – verify whether the support ring of the pelletizer shaft is damaged; it works on the same principle as the support structure of the reciprocating machine, as well as the feed oil system.
The shaft bearings of our pelletizing machine are of the bearing type, and after inspecting the oil seal system, no major issues were found. Still, it’s better to replace the oil seal with a new one. After reinstallation, test the tool entry and exit curves; there seem to be no issues in the cold state, so let’s see how it performs after the molds are closed.
