Problems with elastic block structures

Today I discovered the GR series elastic blocks; on each of the four claws out of the eight, there is a small cylinder on the side. What is the purpose of this small cylinder? Also, is the material of the elastic block matched to its color? For example, yellow corresponds to polyurethane, and red corresponds to nylon?
On each of the four sides of the eight claws, there is a small cylinder, which may be an injection port formed by injection molding.
Left over from processing; it does not affect usage. Material and color have no direct relationship.
