I’ve just entered this industry; my degree from school wasn’t in this field. Now I want to learn how to create welding procedures and acquire knowledge related to welding. However, due to a lack of foundation, I find it difficult to understand many things. I hope that those with more experience can offer some guidance. I intend to study on my own, so I’m looking for some books or textbooks that could help me learn*

After reviewing the standards mentioned on floor 2, find several sets of welding procedure qualifications, welding procedure specifications, and welder certification documents that have already been approved for review, and then compare them with the standards； For basic welding knowledge, you can look at welding terms and their explanations; to become familiar with welding symbols, you can refer to the AWS A2.4 standard ； Additionally, you can go to the site to observe the welder’s welding process, in order to understand the welding techniques and the use of welder certificates ； Another thing is to learn from experienced people* how to plan welding procedure qualifications and welder examinations.
I’ve only just started working with this as well. The person in charge of welding at my workplace has been missing for half a year, and my supervisor has asked me to take over that role. To be honest, Alexander, I’ve been reading so much these days that my head hurts – 47014-47016. Coincidentally, the welders at my workplace need to renew their certificates in July. These past couple of days I’ve been studying TSG Z6002 to prepare the application forms and renewal forms for the welders. If there’s anything I can’t remember, I write it down; then I go to the workshop to check out the products. Take it slow – things will get better once I get used to it
