Separator heat treatment issues

The material of the separator is Q245R; after delivery, heat treatment is required, and a defoaming mesh needs to be added. Can local heat treatment only be carried out after welding the support rings?
This depends on why the equipment needs heat treatment – is it simply due to thickness issues, or are stress corrosion problems a concern?
But by simply adding a support ring, the weld angle is likely to be small; methods such as preheating and welding with low heat input can be considered to reduce welding stress, and heat treatment should be avoided as much as possible.
The local heat treatment of modified equipment will not yield very good results; it may even cause secondary stresses.
The equipment has a diameter of 3000 mm, a thickness of 54 mm, and a height of 11 meters; weld-induced stress is the main concern
Then there is no need for local heat treatment; preheating, or a combination of preheating and tempering of the weld seam, can be considered.
It’s better to follow the method from the 3rd floor and try not to make any changes.
