As shown in the figure, the height of the boss on the heat exchanger tube sheet is only 3 mm – how can a chamfer with an R5 radius be created when the thickness is only 2 mm? :'(
No problem; it’s just a sample to show that this can indeed be made, and the 2mm blunted edge isn’t the main dimension to control.
It is only by giving a thickness of 2mm that the inconsistency in the chamfering of R5 becomes apparent

As a standard, I think this approach has some issues. In practice, some methods ensure a blunt edge of 2, while others ensure an R5 value; it’s difficult to meet both requirements simultaneously
No problem, this is a structure that has been used for N years...
I also often use this structure in my designs, and it’s safe to use. However, in my designs I usually ensure that r5 is met, but I don’t guarantee the presence of rounded edges.
We also usually use 1–0.5 for the blunt edges, adopting a root welding structure.
