As the title suggests, the minimum diameter specified in the GB/T25198 standard is 300. Could someone tell me what the thickness reduction rate for forming EHB219X6 headings is? Thank you! :)
It is usually taken in this way: for <DN300, it is roughly determined based on DN300.

The thinning amount during head forming is related to the technical capabilities of the party responsible for manufacturing the heads; you can contact your company’s subcontractors for this purpose. If specific data are not available, the recommended values in the GB/T25198 head standard can be referred to.
As mentioned on the 2nd floor, it’s mainly because this isn’t specified in the standards for cover plates of type 219; currently, the 300 series is being used
219 can refer to those with a similar diameter
The manufacturing processes are now very mature, with thinner thicknesses and tighter manufacturing tolerances; the specific values vary depending on the capabilities of each manufacturing unit. Since 2008, for the cold-forming processes I’ve been involved with, the thickness reduction has never exceeded 10%. Therefore, the best approach is to consult the head manufacturing factory directly :)
