What is the classification of welds: grade 1, grade 2, grade 3, or category 1, category 2, category 3? And what is its relationship with the quality grade of the weld (I II III)? Also, we use modular waste heat boilers, with full welding used for the sealing between the modules; they only have to withstand the pressure of the flue gas, which is not high, so as to ensure that the flue gas does not leak out. What type of weld is this? What other tests are there, in addition to visual inspection, to ensure good sealing? Is it sufficient to use penetrant testing or magnetic particle testing to examine the surface quality of the welds, or is ultrasonic testing required for internal inspection? How exactly should it be determined? Thank you to all the experts!
You can refer to the steel welding standards for GB 50661-2011; in terms of quality, relevant standards can be used as criteria for evaluation, or you can set requirements that are higher than those specified in the national standards
It seems like saying it is the same as not saying it at all. My doubts have not been resolved.
