Seek drawings for multi-effect falling film evaporator
:Lol, it seems that this blueprint can’t be provided to ordinary people. I didn’t get it either when I bought equipment before.
What is that thicker section at the top of the multi-effect heater? Is there negative pressure inside it?
The thicker one is an expansion joint; it may contain an internal guide tube that also serves as a shock protection barrier. As for the pressure inside, it can be negative or slightly positive.
That is just a simple expansion section, similar to a sleeve; an opening is provided in the inner tube to allow the steam to distribute evenly, simply ensuring that the steam enters the shell side uniformly

The steam expansion section is also a clever way to save costs. A shock plate must be installed at the steam inlet; by doing this, with the same number of pipes, it is possible to increase the shell diameter. By adding an expansion section, the overall diameter of the equipment can be reduced, thus saving material
There is steam inside; how can it be negative pressure?
As for the internal flow guide tubes, anti-impact baffles, and steam distribution mechanisms, why don’t typical shell-and-tube heat exchangers have such elements on their steam side?

The subsequent stages produce secondary steam, which is at the evaporation pressure of the tube side in the previous stage; it’s not surprising that this pressure is negative.
