In recent projects, I have encountered a large number of high-temperature heat exchangers operating in environments subject to wet hydrogen sulfide stress corrosion; the design temperatures range from 425 to 480°C. Do any of you have experience in selecting materials for similar applications? Ordinary Q345R HIC steel plates can barely withstand temperatures of 425°C; at 480°C, they need to be replaced with 15CrMoR HIC. It seems there is little information available online about this, and is its price high? (Without considering the foreign stainless steel process package CS, and heat transfer is also calculated based on CS.) Additionally, how should the heat exchange tubes be selected? Still using 10# steel?
