This diagram shows that simulated water vapor is generated under constant pressure conditions. I would like to ask why it is said to be at constant pressure? When water turns into steam, the steam also exerts an upward force on the object above it; therefore, it is not a constant pressure condition. . . Another issue is that, at a pressure p, unsaturated water is heated until its temperature reaches the value corresponding to that pressure p. The process taking place inside the liquid at this point is boiling. I would like to ask why this pressure p has become the saturation pressure Isn’t it true that only water vapor contributes to the saturated pressure? ?
Put simply: 1. The pressure inside the container is controlled by the weight above it; if this process lasts long enough, it can be assumed that the pressure inside the container is in equilibrium with the pressure generated by the weight. Therefore, it can be considered a constant-pressure process; 2. Every pressure can be a saturated pressure; to determine the state in question, one need only consider the process of boiling water at atmospheric pressure. When water is heated to 100 degrees Celsius, it boils, but it continues to absorb heat and turn into saturated steam. During this process, neither the pressure nor the temperature changes, only the enthalpy value does~
