I would like to ask about the evaluation of heat exchange tubes according to the standard NB/T47014-2011. Under what circumstances is it necessary to evaluate the butt welds? Is it correct for me to carry out this evaluation as an additional step to the evaluation of the tube sheets, with welding being performed after expansion? Then what is the type of welding arc specified in the weld evaluation recommendation form? I’d like to ask an expert for some guidance; please explain it to me! Thank you!
This is how we do it: we conduct a thick plate butt joint assessment to cover the tube sheet, a thin plate butt joint assessment to cover the tubes, and additional assessments to meet the requirements regarding tube diameter, thickness, and tube spacing – in total, 3 assessments are required；
