In the chemical and pharmaceutical industry, vacuum systems are sometimes exposed to conditions with liquids or dust present. Please leave a message to discuss what solutions are currently being used to address this issue
In the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, processes such as freeze-drying, distillation, and rectification involve conditions with liquid and dust present. The usual solution is to install condensers or filters before the pump. However, since most screw pumps are horizontal, seal leaks (with liquid entering the seals) and damage to gears and bearings (as liquid enters the gearbox and gets damaged under high pressure and temperature) are inevitable. The screws or claws may also get stuck, which can lead to the destruction of key components such as the screws, rendering the entire pump unusable.
